BAUN Faculty of Sport Sciences Has Officially Registered Its Quality
Three Programs of the Faculty of Sport
Sciences at Balıkesir University Accredited by SPORAK
The Coaching Education, Sports Management, and
Physical Education and Sports Teaching programs within the Faculty of Sport
Sciences at Balıkesir University have been accredited for a period of two years
by the Sports Sciences Education Programs Evaluation and Accreditation Board
(SPORAK) of the Sports Sciences Association.
This accreditation officially certifies the
faculty’s quality of education, academic competence, and compliance with
national and international standards.
Dean of the Faculty of Sport Sciences, Prof. Dr.
Zekeriya Göktaş, emphasized the significance of this achievement for the
faculty, stating:
“This accreditation is an important indicator
that confirms the academic quality and educational standards of our faculty. I
would like to express my gratitude to our Rector, Prof. Dr. Yücel Oğurlu, and
the senior management of our university for their continuous support throughout
every stage of this process. Our goal is to advance this achievement further
and position our faculty even more strongly at both national and international
levels.”
