Another Stage Completed in the Institutional Accreditation Process: Focus Group Meetings on the Institutional Accreditation Program Guide Concluded

Balıkesir University has successfully completed the Focus Group Meetings on the Institutional Accreditation Program Guide, organized to promote a culture of quality assurance at the institutional level and to systematically prepare for the Institutional Accreditation process.

These meetings were held under the coordination of the Quality Coordination Office and led by the Accreditation Commission, with active participation from all academic units, in accordance with the planned schedule.

During the meetings:

·         The purpose and scope of the Institutional Accreditation Program (IAP) Guide,

·         Evaluation criteria and documentation requirements,

·         Preparation steps at the unit level and process alignment

were discussed in detail. In addition, mutual exchange of ideas, experience sharing, and solution-oriented evaluations were carried out with the participants.

The participation of our esteemed Rector, Prof. Dr. Yücel OĞURLU, in the final meeting once again underscored the significance of this process for our university.

Every contribution was valuable, and every opinion was insightful.

Through these meetings, the foundations of a participatory, transparent, and continuously improving quality culture have been further reinforced across the university.
